Beginner Split Squat with Core-Driven Stability!

Here’s a nice beginner approach to a split squat. Sit down on a chair and make sure that most of the weight is on your front leg.

Push most of the weight through your heel and make sure that your knee is stacked right over your ankle to achieve more gluteus maximus work.

If you have an ad ribbon on, exhale, completely loosening, the ab ribbon, before you descend from the chair, in order to strengthen your breathing core and stabilize your lower back.
