A body composition test differentiates between your lean body tissue or muscle mass and your fat mass. This is much more representative of your health and longevity. Then the weight on the scale or your BMI. A key component of  optimizing your health and wellness routine is knowing whether or not you are making progress toward your goals, finding your minimum effective dose, and taking action with consistency and high motivation on your daily routine.

Only using the weight on the scale to track your progress is a mistake. The weight on the scale represents so many variables that are out of our control and may or may not represent progress in strength and body composition change.

Checking your body composition several times a year is a metric that is reliable, can be shared with your medical professionals, and can serve as a basis for your exercise and nutrition plan.

  • BODY FAT PERCENTAGE

  • MUSCLE MASS PERCENTAGE

  • MUSCLE DISTRIBUTION PER BODY PART

  • METABOLIC RATE

  • VISCERAL FAT (fat on the organs)

  • BODY HYDRATION

  • SUGGESTED PROTOCOLS based on your results

Testing your body composition every 6-8 weeks over the course of the year can be a valuable tool for motivation and an accurate representation of your efforts. It’s less about the weight on the scale and more about how the percentage of muscle and body fat are changing.
